Michael Olumide Edwards is a business strategist, leadership consultant, and higher education expert with over two decades of experience in executive consulting, corporate strategy, governance, and academic leadership. A lifelong learner, he is currently pursuing a Master’s in Artificial Intelligence and Curriculum Design at Harvard Graduate School of Education, complementing his Doctor of Business Administration (DBA) from Teesside University and a Master’s in Petroleum Law and Policy Management from the University of Dundee (CEPMLP). He also holds teaching and coaching qualifications from Oxford Brookes University and the University of Cambridge.

A Fellow of the Higher Education Academy (FHEA), a Chartered Manager (CMgr MCMI), and a Fellow of the British and European Academies of Management, Michael has built a career at the intersection of business transformation, governance, and leadership development. His work spans banking, energy, technology, defence, higher education, and public sector governance, equipping executives, policymakers, and business leaders with strategic insight and operational expertise.

Michael has advised Shell BP and Chevron on corporate governance and operational strategy, worked with Richmond County Bank New York and Wells Fargo on financial performance and risk management, and led governance and restructuring initiatives for NNPC National Petroleum Investment Management. In the public sector, he has delivered executive training for the Home office (UK border force/immigration), NHS (UK national health service ), subsidiaries of the  Kingdom of Saudi Arabia’s Ministry of Defence and Ministry of Communication and IT.

As an academic leader and curriculum innovator, Michael has designed executive education programs in strategic management, corporate governance, and leadership excellence. He serves on the editorial boards of academic journals, where he has peer-reviewed the work of other experts, further reinforcing his position as a thought leader in business and education. With a global career spanning North America, Europe, Africa, and the Middle East, he helps businesses and professionals navigate complexity with foresight and transformative leadership.
