This training workshop gives insight into the definitions and extent of money laundering and terrorism financing and explains the connection to KYC programmes. It describes basic terminology, and describes and debates terms such as ‘politically exposed person’, ‘predicate offenses’, ‘suspicious activity report’, ‘ultimate beneficial owner’ and ‘sanction’.
